Etnosvit is a folk arts and culture festival that takes place in Mystetskyi Arsenal. The festival brings folk artists from all over Ukraine and from other countries; it’s a blend of the cultures and people, the beauty and uniqueness of their cultures, traditions, art, music and food. There is a big folk art market where you can find some really pretty and authentic works and buy them straight from artists, or learn how to do some of that folk art works during workshops. The topic of 2016th festival is traditional pottery. On 21st of May in the museum courtyard outside there will be “the May night”, the night of authentic live folk music and traditional dances. It’s partly organized by my favorite Ivan Honchar Museum, it has a super chill atmosphere and there will be many people who will come wearing some of their traditional costumes.
