ШЩЦ (pronounced ‘shits’) record label does not typically host normal parties. While ‘underground’ raves pride themselves on their exclusivity, ШЩЦ gathers a so-called ‘street intelligentsia’ out in the open in unexpected places. On July 1st, they chose to re-imagine the riverside beside the Metro Bridge. This spontaneous DIY event took place next to Dnipro metro station, which opened in the 1960s. Thanks to its unique aesthetic, it was featured in numerous Soviet-era Ukrainian films in the ‘70s and ‘80s.
